Abshier-Meuth Animal has been open and treating your pets and livestock since 1992. The new hospital building was completed in 1995 with Dr. Abshier and Dr. Meuth as the attending veterinarians. Since that time 2 more veterinarians have joined our staff. At any one time there are 2 doctors on duty to serve our customers.
Office hours are 8:00 to 5:30 Mon - Friday and 8:00 to noon on Saturdays. The doctors are out of the office for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:30 but if an emergency arrises a doctor can be paged.
We do a limited amount of boarding for our clients. There are stalls and paddocks at the back of the hospital. Horses and small livestock animals must have an appointment before coming into the hospital for treatments.
CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT: Walk-ins are always welcome but to avoid a long waits during
heavy patient traffic days an appointment assures you of being seen as promptly as our schedule allows. Surgeries and special procedures require special scheduling and must have an appointment. Farm calls are strictly by appointment usless you have an emergency.
